Good work on this project as it's a pretty good effort for a first try(as it looks quite tricky to make.)It's interesting to see how artist can 'summarise' their own views of their countries in only one piece of artwork, surely, everyone in the class came up with their own different ideas, right?Colours would really brighten up the whole thing,if there was time to do that. Can't wait to see more!

Radaketor responds:

Oh for sure, people had a lot of different projects.
I'm not really good at painting and i don't like doing it either so while the other people spent time painting theirs i just focused on finishing mine in time.

Well done, once again but she seems a little sluggish, don't you think?

draneas responds:

Thanks! Hm, true. I could have added indications for scales. Maybe next time

It'a wonder what you can come up with some imagination(and maybe boredom, this is French, not art class, unless it's part of the lesson,if not, don't get caught or you'll look like this!)and a few basic stationery. This looks like anyone who did something wrong and got caught later. In this case, whose brains did the fella eat this time?

Radaketor responds:

Haha, we didn't have anything to do in class because the teacher was working on something so i ended up drawing this.

Wow,good work on this,it must have taken quite a bit of time and skill to make and it's a good-looking piece, for what's possibly your first try at this art method. The character's anatomy looks to be in order, even for the oversized head, which is part of the style, only if there were some colours and background to bring this character to life.Anyway, keep it up!

Radaketor responds:

Took me about 40-50 minutes to draw all of it. I've done chibis before but this is the first time it came out so well. I did think about adding colours but i'm not the best at painting so i'm afraid i'd ruin it.
Thanks for the review!

This is really one of the best moving pictures(funny that it does not loop though,it worked the first time)-it captures the intensity of the brawl between the adversaries. They clash and duck from each other's blows like in every action movie, yet their movements aren't the clumsy type but rather graceful, almost as if they're dancing(imagine this without weapons and other effects.)Maybe this is the reason why this piece of work belong to the art section.Good work and keep it up!

Ogilvietheblue responds:

I definitely appreciate the in depth analysis. I can see exactly what youre talking about and I take pride in trying to animate things like this. Take a look at the full scene when you get a change in the link.

That is quite creative, like something an architect would think of,inside of a camp with bunk beds inside(maybe you have another idea in mind?)Good work on your first piece of art(a background would make it better) and hope to see more!

Anime-NoireChan responds:

Thanks. It's called Rainbow House, Not a camp. I have to finished it this time to make. And the background is blank so i supposed to make a good background.

The shading is well done, from the lighter colours above the dragon to the darker ones below, creating quite a realistic scene(except maybe for the dragon.)The dragon is simply designed and also quite well done like something cut out of a picture book and pasted on the blue background and the colouring helps the dragon stand out in the picture.Maybe other creatures could be added to the picture,to create an even more realistic scene underwater(or that the dragon scared them off or ate them, well,a picture speaks a thousand words.)Anyway, good job on this, miss!

Rrachel-chan responds:

Thank you (:

This is another artwork that is well done with a mix between your creative idea and some inspiration from Japanese character designs('Chibi' means 'small person' and the character's facial features are quite like those used in Japanese characters.)The dress which looks like it is based on dated European clothing(Victorian times, maybe?) gives a nice touch to the art and does not look out of place as there is a balance between the bright colours of the settings and the darker ones used on the dress,so you must have quite a skill in doing this.Good work and keep the art coming.

Rrachel-chan responds:

Thank you so much, and indeed, it was inspired in a Victorian style (:

The colouring and the use of different shades are excellent as the blue hair of the mermaid stands out, instead of disappearing into the background. The character design looks like it was done by someone who has practiced quite a lot,is talented in creating art and deserving a place in the art portal.

Rrachel-chan responds:

Thank you so much for your kind words :)
