Well, that was some advice(though the recording was made late last year, but better late than never) and the animation's decent too(just keep practicising.)

Just one question, who started this Ban Week and why?Wait, that's two...

Little-Rena responds:

It's a group thing for fun.

The long awaited sequel is finally here! And it is great to see that nothing has changed much in the quality of the animation, voiceacting and plot. The voiceacting was done very well as they still suit the characters, though it has been quite a while from the first episode. The plot was quite well-planned as it was not so predictable in some parts(maybe the poo poo, pardon, island was quite an 'interesting' idea and it was obvious what might happen to the heroes there.)The plot was also ironic as the 'terrifying horrors' that the heroes must face are pretty much the opposite. While there is little or no action, the humor still makes this entertaining to watch along with the beautiful backgrounds and variety of new and quite strange characters.Everything was kept simple and done short and sweet without dragging on but it seemed a little fast-paced like there could have been more things happening while the heroes made their way to each of the 'terrifying horrors'(it would still be awesome with or without that, anyway!)The ending was a little sudden, however,it marked what the heroes would soon face(dang the suspense..)A fantastic series, this is,so far,so keep it up and kudos and a great thanks to everyone who had played a part in this(they really deserve it!)And the scene at 3 minutes and 10 seconds was priceless...And who wrote those road signs!?

SOMNIUMANIMATION responds:

Thank you for the great review!

This is really intriguing, with so many question going unanswered, like who or what was the officer that pulled them over and why did he kill the man(is it to punish him for speeding, which would be ridiculous or to get the woman, which is another question, what did he want from her?)The description is quite ironic too,as the only 'adventure' that the young couple had was,in fact a tragedy and a creepy one too. This animation is strangely entertaining, from the way it started out with the man picking up his date and then to the climax, when the man was killed by an officer who may be more than waht he really is and even at the ending,it gets stranger. So many questions from one animation,so please make more. The pixel art style of the animation makes it special like in an arcade game(though the 'execution' from 2 minutes and 30 seconds is a little overdone, not so much about the blue blood but with the brains pouring out the man's head like a burst pipe, the car would really need some cleaning.)Good work on this!

spacefader responds:

To be honest I didn't plan this animation at all which explains why it comes off a little confusing, i find it confusing for sure.

Although it is quite a pity this wasn't a winner,it is good enough to be the base of a story,if there is going to be a backstory to answer some questions like who are the characters and why did the man do that? The storyline is pretty engaging,so please make a second part.

wierdbros responds:

Never really thought about making a second part but now I just might dot hat.

This is strangely interesting, from a duck(and other types of birds)having day jobs at a processing plant, maybe, which does 'civilised' things(the irony of the title) to what looks like birds with human heads that scream in agony,to the 'civilised' birds having stick limbs, instead of wings(how do those limbs support their body weights anyway?)Good job on this simple yet quite disturbing animation.

Gerkinman responds:

Thanks, I was really trying for something different :)

It goes to show the 'epicness' of Universal Studios(haha,it can't be really that bad as it has been around for that long and generations have watched and listened to that old opening).Nice animation,by the way,it's good to see that your animation style didn't change much like Universal Studios with that old opening to every movi.

WooleyWorld responds:

Yeah I dig my style too much to ditch it.
Glad you like it. :]

This has the potential to be expanded into a series, maybe it could be the reason why some may think it's random but this is only the creator's second submission(and possibly a pilot episode if the creator continues making more parts)and also the second one to be on front page. Also, even though the characters 'talk' using repeating sounds, their body language like eye rolling actually makes the characters more realistic and in a way, tell the story along with the translated cat language which the creator kindly added subtitles for(An example is Psycat's reaction to the female cat's line,'Forget about me,Psycat!' and his reply 'I loved you...and I know I'm rough.'shows that there is a backstory which the creator has yet to show, which is why this should be made into a series along with the dark humor(that scene from 1 minute and 21 seconds to 1 minute and 25 seconds.)Good work on this and hope to see more soon!

MarmotaStudio responds:

Yes, you got it! There's a background between Psycat and the cats, and there are plans for a sequel, but not yet.

The characters looked quite decent(if it is your art style to draw facial features like that)although they could look a little overexaggerated, but this is meant to poke fun at the characters that most people recognise, just a little more practice,so they would not look so messy(Sonic's face, for example.)The jokes, although simple,it is a first attempt and seems to be quite original,so good work on that. You could 'study' more about the characters(sure, everyone knows Sonic, but what about the other characters that have appeared with him in all the series, for example)or you could watch old reruns to get some ideas. You could even use your own ideas to create your own series and not just references, thus giving it more originality(like some animators have done.)Good work on this anyway and good luck!

thekiwi responds:

Thank you !

Damn do I love me some constructive feedback ! I agree with everything you wrote.

I might start my own original series soon with casual jokes instead of gaming.

This animation has shown how much you have improved and you seemed to be getting better not just in the designs(simple yet well done) but also adding music to the otherwise silent and dull animation(an animator's skill.)Though the ending is a little sudden, this is just a trailer(is it?) and not the 'real thing',so not much can be expected yet.Just keep practicing on the designs(try moving onto more difficult types like characters with human/animal features, for example),the plot(if there is going to be one in your project,an original idea is the best) and voiceacting(if there is.)
Good work on this and hope to see that project!

NeonF1sh responds:

Yup, just a preview so far! Working on it on an almost daily basis. Thank you for your comment! c:

A humorous and quite well done little flash that shows in every relationship, there is never a perfect first meeting.Too bad, this would have been better posted on Valentine's Day but it is close enough.May you both have a wonderful relationship.

WooleyWorld responds:

Actually the original release date was supposed to be Valentine's Day but I wanted to give it to her on a special day, you know. :]
Glad you enjoyed it, McH.
