Although simple in its design and concept, this game is engaging enough to kill some time and with or without medals,it is also quite addictive for players wanting a challenge(this game is more of a 'normal' difficulty which makes it playable for everyone.)It might be better with more types of obstacles that can 'bounce' off the walls and not just move in a regular way,as it can get too 'predictable' even in the later levels. The levels could be designed using other shapes besides circle and it could make the game more interesting(for example,a squareish level is smaller but has less obstacles than a rectangular level, obviously.)Anyway, good work on this simple yet quite enjoyable game.

This game really bring back good old memories of the games two decades ago with its designs reminiscent of that gaming era.The racing cars's designs look so simple yet it makes the game feel like the real game from back then but what makes this game stands out is its concept. The player would usually need to be the fastest so as to win but that does not happen here, all the player as to do is to 'follow' the car in front and wait for it to be overtaken, while avoiding obsatcles(which are quite few even in hard mode)and making turns, giving players some challenge and medals too. However,as the game has only one map,it becomes too predictable as obstacles still appear at the same areas,so more maps would mean not just more variety but also replayability.Another thing is that sometimes, when the player's car is behind another car,it looks like it is above the ground as the car in front looks lower(or it is just the game.)

This is overall quite an enjoyable game,so good work on this and do try to update this to make it better.

Thank you so much ! I absolutely agree with you, there are really some things to improve. I also wanted more racetracks, but the filesize would be gigantic. I must find a way to optimize things even better. I´m thinking about making a sequel from scratch with all the ideas and suggestions people made here in mind. Thank you for the review. I feel very happy and motivated for the future.

It is decent for a first game as it is quite challenging by testing the player's memory. There is another game like this titled 'Maximum Frustration 2'(you could check it out if you are going to update this one or making another game like this.)You could learn quite a bit from that game and do read the reviews to see its good and bad points and you can improve from there. This is pretty good,so keep practicising.

This is an interesting game with its tetris concept packed with timed challenges that makes it engaging and quite addictive for those wanting to claim the top place in the high scores(and not just for the medals which are just to show how much persistence and skill player have.)Also, the first few levels act as a warm up for the later levels(Levels 2 and 6,for example.)Overall, this game is really enjoyable if enough patience is put into it for those wanting a challenge(and not just the medals or it will be just be pointless.)

Comparing this to another game titled 'Snake Squad' may not be the wisest idea for a review but there are differences between the two that could be pointed out.
(1)In 'Snake Squad',the player's character has its own health but any unit under it gets killed by a shot while in this game, each unit can survive longer with more health.
(2)In 'Snake Squad',the controls is a little more relaxed as the player needs to only to move the character around while it automatically fires at any nearby enemy. Here, the player has to manually control the character in firing and moving,so it adds more action and tests the player's skills in not just dodging shots but also firing.
(3)Money is earned differently in both games,in 'Snake Squad',coins need to be collected from enemies killed before they disappear while money rewards here are given in full for every kill so nothing can be lost but everyone is just going to end up with mostly the same amount of money. It is only whether upgrades are bought now, later or never.
(4)In 'Snake Squad',any upgrade can be bought anytime,so there is more 'freedom' than in here where, the weapon has to be upgraded to the next level. There are also more upgrades, units and enemies in the former than the latter.
(5)The battlefield while larger here(with more space to take cover and hide),makes it more difficult to find units unlike in 'Snake Squad' where units have arrows pointing out their positions even though the area is smaller.A mini map could be added to point out where enemies and units are.
Overall,a pretty good game to kill some free time for players finding some action.

This game is quite addictive as it is not the usual clearing by matching game. Its objective of clearing out symbols in white boxes may start out easy but later becomes quite challenging as the number of white boxes increases against the total number of moves(even when fully upgraded)which becomes more and more limited,so the player's thinking skills(with a little luck)are really needed to beat the later levels. The increasing difficulty makes the game addictive as there are quite a number of ways to get a combo but only a few can get the best results,so a lot of care and alertness can point them out(if not, then good luck.)The shop could have more upgrades like a larger rocket blast radius and decreasing the number of combos to fire rockets. The music is quite catchy and does not distract(from a personal opinion.)Hints could be given at a heavy cost of points so they will not be heavily depended upon.Good work on this anyway!

This game is quite addictive with its upgrade systems, level settings to adjust difficulty(although it is not a new idea but a good addition anyway)and the fact that completed levels could be replayed to earn more points for upgrades before moving on.
(1)However,it does not fully engage the player in using much strategy besides deciding and placing defenses in the best places to cause the most damage on attackers.Maybe a Fairyland campaign where players get to go on the offensive and sometimes defensive against the kidnappers could be included with more types of units. This will not only make the game more interesting, but also makes the game suit the title better(this way,the demons are fighting with Fairyland with both sides and defending.)It may also suit picky players who always dread 'another tower defense game' as it is different from the other examples of defense games stated in the comment though it will take more time and effort.
(2)There could be more spells(to freeze enemies for a short time or to zombify attackers)and defenses and traps like pits and mines to add more variety to the game.
Overall, this game is quite addictive even as something inspired by other defense games.Keep it up!

Firstly, this game really is really visually appealing from every characters' designs to the background.
Secondly, there is a variety of units with their own special abilities and upgrades, gving the game replayability value and addictiveness along with the 'fun' of watching weaker enemies being smashed in battle(only if there was more gory effects like heads and limbs being cut off and screams of agony just to make the battles more realistic.)
Thirdly,it is a good thing that after every mini battle, the player is able to change the battle formation instead of having it fixed although it could be better if the player is allowed to use multiple units from one type like two groups of skeleton archers, for example as it seems that the game does not have this option.
Lastly,'Gold Digger' is an interesting perk that works like a kind of life insurance for the humans except that extra money is earned by the units who killed them which then be used for upgrades and more bloodshed(Who ever thought insurance could be handy even on a battlfield?)There could be more perks like a frenzy mode in which every unit type attacks the enemy(just an idea.)
Overall, this is one awesome game with much effort and time clearly put into it and it is a good use for medals too.

This is pretty decent for a survival game as it has the basic upgrades and skills and different backgrounds and the custom game mode to add some variety.(1)There could be a way to quit to the main menu and some sound effects and music and a mute option, not that these are that really important but they can add to the mood.(2)Maybe there could be more types of turrents(one that uses fire to burn enemies and another to slow down enemies)and more types of weapons(weapons with triple shot, for example) to add more replayability to the game, instead of sticking to one and more powerups like temporary invincibility and time freeze.
(3)The maps could be bigger so enemies do not surround the player easily.
This is good enough to kill some time anyway and keep it up and keep on practicing!(Sorry about the many 'could's.)

This game really brought back the good old memories of the retro arcade gaming era with its pixel graphics, every 'character' and sound effects.Maybe there could have be a set of mini games, instead of one but this is still a pretty good idea anyways. There is enough challenge in here to occupy some time and it is a good thing that the player respawns on a later level after a game over, instead of starting over, saving time and effort though it will be more difficult. There could be powerups like shield or rapid-fire for short time in the game but that may ruin the overall arcade gaming experience which tests skills.Good work on this as it is great to relive those old days of the arcade games.

(Note:Points are given when the player's ship is moved in front of its own shots without taking any damage,a harmless glitch or part of the game?)

levelbylevel responds:

Thanks for your comments :) Theres indeed lots of scope here for a further expansion or sequel.

Good catch on that glitch, I'll take a look at it :)
